EAR HUSTLE-GAUDY BROAD
Gaud.y1 [Gaw-dee]
-adjective gaud-i-er, gaud-i-est 1. brilliantly or excessively showy
syn: flashy, tawdry, LOUD, Obvious
My accessory obsession started at a very young age when I asked to be Madonna for Halloween at age 3. I’ve
always wondered why it was hard for me to shop for clothes as I grew older. Naturally I’ve always gravitated
towards jewelry instead. Because this falls within my comfort zone, I’ve often found myself over accessorizing.
My over-the-top style earned me the name “Gaudy” by family and friends in highschool. In 2010 I, Asia Broadus
launched my first line named Gaudy Broad. This collection is a floral inspired theme based on impulse,
excitement, and passion. Anyone who isn’t afraid of being bold, colorful, and daring, take a look!

GET ON MY LEVEL-MY INSPIRATION
To be a good designer you need inspiration to feed on. Here is some of the food that I eat on the daily.
SEXUAL ERUPTION-JASPER GOODALL
Jasper Goodall was born in 1973 in Birmingam, England.
Goodall was at the forefront of the reinvention and rejuvenation of illustration
in the late nineties and helped pave the way for the huge resurgence of the
medium that we have witnessed in the last ten years. His iconic work for The
Face magazine has influenced so many image makers, it has almost become
a school of illustration in itself. His client list encompasses many areas- music,
fashion, advertising, publishing and Editorial.
Goodall's style of sexual tension and love for art pushes the envelope in the
visual world. For more Examples of his work go to http://www.jaspergoodall.com

TAYLOR GANG
MASTER PIECE THEATER-LAYER CAKE
LAYER CAKE is a 2004 British crime thriller directed by Matthew Vaughn. It is based on the novel Layer Cake by J. J.
Connolly staring Daniel Craig.
The film centers on a cocaine distributor played by Daniel Craig. The character, who also narrates the film, is deliberately
unnamed throughout, but is listed in the credits as "XXXX". XXXX has established a successful business in London buying,
cutting, and selling cocaine while avoiding the largesse and gangster behavior associated with drug dealing. Having made
his fortune, he plans to retire from the business for good. This has to be hands down one of my favorite films hands down.
I've seen Layer Cake well over hundred times and it nevergets old. This is a must see if you haven't yet.

I AM...
I AM my art…
This is by no means a cliché, but a testimony that says I try to leave a piece of myself within each project I complete. I feel that the best work is brought forth through artistic expression. I want to use my imagination and skills to bring to life YOUR vision.
From an urban sprawl - to a corporate setting – edgy, but clean work always catches the eye more than bland and boring. I feel that my style is a reflection of my travels and life experience. I will bring your project to life with passion and originality.
My mantra is: “Cookie cutter work doesn't cut it.”
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
A core responsibility of the designer’s job is to present information in a way that is both accessible and memorable. Designers should be able to solve visual communication problems or challenges. In doing so, the designer must identify the communication issue, gather and analyze information related to the issue, and generate potential approaches aimed at creating a work of art.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Artist are equally interested by these aspects but I also try to explore avenues other than the photo-mechanical representation of reality. Photography is used to preserve memories of a favorite time, to capture special moments, to tell stories, to send messages, and a source of entertainment.
DJ
The heart and soul of a Dj should be heard through their play list. The atmosphere should be epic as if it were a movie. The Dj’s score plays a big part to being a blockbuster film with an Oscar nod or a B - Movie that goes straight to DVD. The choice is yours.
