Gaud.y1 [Gaw-dee]
-adjective gaud-i-er, gaud-i-est 1. brilliantly or excessively showy
syn: flashy, tawdry, LOUD, Obvious
My accessory obsession started at a very young age when I asked to be Madonna for Halloween at age 3. I’ve
always wondered why it was hard for me to shop for clothes as I grew older. Naturally I’ve always gravitated
towards jewelry instead. Because this falls within my comfort zone, I’ve often found myself over accessorizing.
My over-the-top style earned me the name “Gaudy” by family and friends in highschool. In 2010 I, Asia Broadus
launched my first line named Gaudy Broad. This collection is a floral inspired theme based on impulse,
excitement, and passion. Anyone who isn’t afraid of being bold, colorful, and daring, take a look!
